Main House Computer Screen - checks to do

You can get to the main house computer screen by browsing to http://192.168.88.196:3000/

The battery percentage generally needs to stay above 50%. If not, ensure any unnecessary electrical items are turned off until the battery level restores. The “Consumption” figure on the dashboard when nothing is running is typically 200W or less. Other items that use electricity listed below -
Lights can us up to 200W
Computers can use 200W
Fridge occasionally uses a couple of hundred watts
Water pump when automatically running during the day can have periods of spikes, using 800 watts approx
Water immersion heaters - can use up to 1.5Kw (9so are heavy on electricity). These are generally automatically controlled and show as “Load 1” and “Load 2” on the computer screen. These should generally be on during the day when we have solar, and off at night. They can be manually turned off in the cupboard that houses the water tank in the plant room.
Washing machine - can use up to 1,5Kw
Dish washer/toaster/cooking can be very heavy on electricity, don't use them all at once. The maximum load should never exceed 4.5kW.
The system will “alarm” at anything over about 3.5kW.

The Borehole Pressure shouldn't drop below 1 Bar. This pressure is “topped up” by the water pump in the water shed every few hours but it can occasionally drop to zero when a toilet valve gets stuck and runs continuously overnight. In which case the regular top-up at 7am should restore things but try and find the guilty toilet, or other leak.)
